Copy Elements Other Codes
The Other Codes feature allows organizations to manage internal code systems that work similarly to GS1 codes. While GS1 codes are globally standardized, some companies prefer using their own internal codes—often referred to as Other Codes—for identifying copy or nutrition elements. This feature supports that flexibility.
Like GS1 codes, Other Codes can be associated with copy or nutrition elements and are particularly useful when exporting data to external systems, such as Product Information Management (PIM) platforms, where mapping based on internal codes may be required. This helps ensure consistent identification and seamless integration with external tools.
