Assets Security

Note: Assets Security is an enterprise feature available exclusively to users on the Enterprise plan. For more information on all ManageArtworks plans, click here.

The Asset Library Security feature allows you to configure permissions for various asset library actions, such as Delete Any File, Delete My File, Bulk Download, and more, based on user security levels. For example, you can grant the "Delete Any File" permission to specific user profiles, such as  Power or Admin. This allows you to control which features are available to each user profile.

How do I configure asset library security?

01. Access Asset Security

1. Log in to your ManageArtworks account.
2. Navigate to the Admin module.
3. Click the Assets Security tab.

02. Configure Asset Features for Different User Profiles

1. Review the list of asset features displayed in the table.
2. Configure permissions for each user profile (Normal, Power, Restricted, Admin) as needed.
   Note: Some permissions are pre-configured for specific user profiles and cannot be changed.
3. To revoke the "Delete Any File" permission for Power users:
   1. Toggle the button in the Power column for the "Delete Any File" feature to In-active.
   2. To grant permissions, toggle the corresponding button to Active.
4. Similarly, you can configure permissions for other features and user profiles (Normal, Power, Restricted, and Admin) as required.
