# Share File

Web Viewer's "Share" feature empowers you to seamlessly collaborate on artwork proofreading, ensuring efficient feedback exchange and streamlined revision cycles.  
  
**Note:** The "Share" feature is available in Web Viewer only when files are opened from the Proofing module.

## Share the File

1.  Click the Share icon.

2.  Click the "Add user to share with" dropdown menu and select the users you want to share the files with.
3.  Click the **Share** button to share the file with the selected users.

## Recipient Experience

-   **Email Notification:** Shared users receive an email containing the file link for easy access.

-   **In-App Notification:** Upon logging in, users see a notification in proofing module indicating "Files Shared With Me" alongside the exact number of files shared with them.

-   **File Overview:** Clicking the notification reveals a list of shared files with details like file name, shared date, shared by, and expiry date.
-   **Open and Review:** Users can click on the notification to open it for review.

## View comments

-   Select the "Comments" option within the opened file to access and view the available comments.
-   Click the drop-down icon and filter the comments as desired.
